With Archbishop Fisichella, the pro-prefect for the New Evangelization section of the Dicastery for Evangelization since 2022, and my former professor and thesis director when I studied in Rome, and Archbishop Bill Nolan of Glasgow, the former Bishop of Galloway. Archbishop Fisichella was in Scotland to give a presentation to priests on the pastoral and cultural challenges facing the priest today.

I was delighted when Bishop Frank appointed me as Parish Priest of St Joseph's, Stranraer, when Fr Ben Lodge CP returned to his Religious Order in England after exercising his pastoral ministry in St Joseph's from 2023-2026. I would like to thank Fr Ben for the generosity with which he served the people of St Joseph's, and for his support and friendship to me over the years in which he has been with us in the Diocese of Galloway. we wish him well in his new pastures.
